I have always told us about the advantages of automatic fuel injectors compared to manual fuel injection. The same automatic fuel injectors are assumed to be used carelessly, but they also have some shortcomings. For example, there are two shortcomings that are easy to occur during the injection process of automatic fuel injection equipment-the causes and treatment methods of lax concealment and fish eyes.
1. Poor concealment of the shortcomings of fuel injection:
Also known as translucent or bleeding. The color paint cannot completely conceal the color of the original paint surface, or the color of the old paint film and the color of the primer layer penetrate into the top paint layer, changing the color of the top paint. The red and yellow paint layers have more bleeding.
① Accumulation of colored paint. After the topcoat was diluted, the paint was not sufficiently stirred, and the pigment accumulated on the bottom of the container, which caused the resin content in the sprayed paint to be too high and the color became lighter.
②Negligence spraying technology. For example, each subsequent coating is not sprayed repeatedly, resulting in striped paint surface or hidden defects.
③Too much thinner is used, so the paint coating becomes very thin.
④The old paint layer or the bottom layer is rich in pigments that can cause color bleeding. Therefore, the old paint layer should be handled carefully, and an insulating layer can be sprayed to prevent color bleeding.
(2) Correction method
Assuming there is fine bleeding, you can spray satisfactory paint for concealment. Regarding the paint surface with serious bleeding, it should be polished off and sprayed from the beginning.
2. Fisheye of the disadvantages of automatic fuel injection:
Fish eyes are also called shrinkage holes or bead holes. Small round pits appear on the topcoat, sometimes loose and sometimes clustered.
① Wax containing silicone is a common factor that causes fish eyes. Abrasives on sandpaper and many car waxes and polishing agents are rich in silicone. Silicone has strong adhesion on the paint surface and is difficult to remove. A very small amount of car wax will cause the appearance of fish eyes, so it should be ensured that all work that comes into contact with silicone is carried out in an isolated workshop away from the fuel injection workshop.
②The surface of the primer is contaminated, such as oil on the primer, so the sprayed surface must be cleaned before spraying, and a neutral cleaning agent can be used.
③Seriously filter the compressed air used by the spray gun to ensure the innocence of the compressed air, because silicones are often found to come from compressed air pipes rather than paint. The compressed air filter is drained and cleaned every day to discharge the moisture and dirt in the filter, and the air compressor should be drained every day.
④It is not recommended to use a color paint rich in anti-fisheye remover, because the remover may contaminate other sprayed parts of the surrounding oil sprayer equipment, and in severe cases may reduce the adhesion of the topcoat.
